This vintage postcard features a prominent figure from the Old West, Sheriff Harry J Teer, in Lead/Deadwood, South Dakota, circa 1908. The image is a real photo postcard (RPPC), with an embossed photographer stamp from Lead, South Dakota, and is an original photo. Teer was also part of the Homestake Mining Gold Company at the time too.

The postcard depicts Teer wearing his badge, which reads Lawrence County Sheriff and a ribbon of some kind, giving us a glimpse of the law enforcement of the era. The postcard is in excellent condition, with no signs of wear and tear, and remains unposted. This unique collectible is perfect for fans of Western history, law enforcement, or vintage photography.
