RARE MATCHING PAIR OF VICTORIAN BRISTOL BLUE GLASS VASES GOLD BIRDS ON BRANCHES:

Up for sale is a very very rare matching pair of Victorian handblown powder blue Bristol glass vases featuring gold birds on gold floral tree limbs, these thin opaline glass vases were made circa 1880\'s, sorry I do not know the maker or if they were made in the United States or the United Kingdom. The vases are large, they measure 10\" tall, 3 1/2\" across the top, 3 1/2\" across the bottom of the foot and about 4 1/2\" across the belly. When looking through the vases at bright Sunlight, you can see the fire in the glass at the bottom, they also have the handblown pontil marks on them at the bottom (please see last pic). There are NO chips cracks repairs dishwasher scarring or water deposits that I can find, they are in FANTASTIC condition for their age, they may need a little cleaning, but I am now legally blind so I will leave this up to the new owner so that I do not damage the beautiful birds and floral branches. They have been with us awhile now so it is time to let them fly to their new home, I hope you enjoy them as much as we have.
