Attention : this sword is shown in its entirety, there are no offensive symbols present or hidden. Rare "SS Officers Candidate" sword. These swords are not SS hallmarked and do not bear any offensive symbols. When I purchased this privately I could not find an exact example in my research. I reached out to author and expert Thomas Wittmann who was kind enough to let me know this was an early Rath from 1939. These swords rarely come up for sale. I placed a good number of pictures to show the condition of the sword, please let me know if you have any additional questions. I have also included a photo of a similar sword that that I since found sold on the Johnson website for $3295. Shipped USPS Priority Mail.
