How rare? At this time, there is only one for sale and none sold in the last 2 years!
I personally didn't know the history of this statue, so this is paraphrased from the other listing:The original statue was scheduled to be released at the 1999 San Diego Comic Con but was delayed. As an apology for the delay Sirius came up with a limited all silver edition of the statue BUT in order to get one, you had to order it and pay for it at the 1999 San Diego Comic Con. Only about 100 or so fans were willing to make the commitment which makes this by far the rarest Dawn statue.
The statue is brand new and has never been displayed. This statue is gorgeous.You won't find a better one!
These statues are not numbered, so I don't know how many were made.
My photos don't do this statue justice. The detail and colors are beautiful! A must have for Dawn fans.

This statue has been stored in a smoke free and pet free environment. This statue may have been opened to verify its condition.
