Battle worn RARE- K Company, second cavalry, Civil War Kepi hat cap in original war condition. The 2 on top of the hat is lead filled. The K was placed on the front of the cap with a piece of leather on the inside to hold it in place where the cap was also sewed on the top front as you can see in pictures 1, 2 and 3.. all of the sewing that was done on this cap was done in the Civil War Era..This is an authentic, original war worn cap..The backside of the buttons read Scovill Waterbury
