Up for your consideration is a RARE authentic fine porcelain figurine / sculpture handmade by well-known high quality maker ROYAL COPENHAGEN of DENMARK! Figurine was designed by distinguished artist THEODOR MADSEN (1880-1965) and original released in 1903! Sculpture is # 532 titled HERON and depicts an absolutely STUNNING Heron standing in grass with beak up! Figurine is marked on bottom with the green ROYAL COPENHAGEN DENMARK crown mark - it appears there is a mark beneath the "R" in Denmark, dating the piece to 1960! Piece is also embossed on side base with "TM" mark referring to Theodor Madsen. Piece shows amazing craftsmanship, quality and REALISTIC detail throughout! Extremely well made weighing 2 LBS 3.3 OZ and measuring 11 Inches X 4 3/4 Inches X 3 3/4 Inches. Sculpture is in excellent original vintage condition with no breaks or repairs (please refer to photos).
