RARE Box of 12 Antique Mercury Glass Feather Tree Christmas Ornaments w/ Indents For Sale

Box of antique mercury glass Christmas tree / Feather tree Ornaments
12 ornaments with original box.
Measure approximately 2 1/2\" high, 2 1/4\" in diameter.
Pictures 6, 7 and 8 show that one of the ornaments is broken. It has a large crack as well as a hole in the glass. It is still together. All of the ornaments have some wear or crazing types of lines on the red. Picture 12 shows one of the balls has more red missing on the bottom than the others. The indents are great! They sparkle with color and silver when the light hits them.
The box is very damaged, there is no lid. The paper inserts are very brittle, the box is too. These were purchased at an sale, where we were told they were in a barn that had suffered a fire. Under normal circumstances, it\'s amazing to find all 12 still together, let alone being in a fire. I\'m putting the box inside another old Christmas all box just to give it stability.
I have been collecting antique ornaments for 30 years and have never come across a box like these. The glass is very thing. They will be packaged with the utmost care. I can\'t guarantee the cracked ball won\'t break in shipping, but I will package very carefully to try and prevent that.
Metal caps do not show where they were made.
