RARE Vintage Antique Amronlite Bankers Desk Lamp 1917 w/Patina Rewired. Condition is Used.

***SERIOUS LOOKERS... PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION!***

This antique lamp is in excellent condition! The lamp belonged to a family friend, who I understand was the original owner for decades. Then the lamp came to my family, and we have had it in (unworking) condition for approx. 25 years. The lamp was professionally rewired just a few months ago and is in great working condition! The glass is in near-perfect condition as well. There are some spots on the outside of the glass which I have NOT attempted to clean in any way, because I do not want to risk damaging. I have also not attempted to clean the lamp itself from the existing patina, so as to not damage it in any way.

Flaws:

There is a very small chip in the glass on the front edge of the lamp that measures approx. ⅜” long. The chip is not deep, and is barely visible when the shade is over the lamp. I inspected the shade several times before even noticing the chip (see photos).

The clamp/clasp that holds the glass shade is slightly bent (see photos). As is, the clamp does hold the glass shade, but seems a little insecure. I believe this is something that is an easy fix with a couple of pairs of pliers, to simply bend the metal into a straighter position. But again, this is something I have not attempted so as to not risk damaging the lamp.

The only other flaw is that the Sheaffer’s pen stand is broken. The pen sheath has broken off the base of the stand, which could likely be glued back on, and the top of the pen holder is broken off slightly as well (see photos).
