This is an extremely rare dummy factice store display antique perfume bottle by Richard Hudnut is a rare find for collectors. Its large size and unique design make it a great addition to any decorative collection. The bottle features a beautiful an antique design that adds to its charm. The brand is Richard Hudnut and the fragrance it was advertising is violet sec. I do not know if the liquid inside is perfume, my understanding is that for the factice bottles it is not but I have no way of knowing, the stopper does not come out as far as I know. When a black light is held to the bottle the liquid glows green almost like uranium would so I’m EXTREMELY curious as to what they used back in the day the fill these up. The paper label is on but partially missing. It is so rare to find the dummy factice store display version of this bottle, let alone full! this is a true survivor. I would imagine You wont find another for ages. I’m not a scientist but my advise is to not attempt to open the bottle bc I highly doubt it is perfume, they used to fill these with liquids that looked like the perfume. And uncertainly wouldn’t put any on my body if I did get the bottle open.
