Up for your consideration is a NICERARE Antique Arcade Golden Rule Coffee Grinder in Complete Condition. The Golden Rule Coffee Grinder was manufactured by the Arcade Company in Columbus, Ohio in the early 1900's. As the story goes the Golden Rule Brand of Coffee became very popular between 1910-1930 and because of that the company commissioned Arcade to make a few of these beautiful grinders. This grinder is being offered in exceptionally good condition with very little scratching and with no know broken, damaged or missing parts. Grinder appears to be in working condition and still has its commonly missing receptacle cover and glass catch cup. Arcade spared nothing when designing the Golden Rule Grinder. The coffee receptacle is made of beautiful hardwood with intricate tight tongue and groove joints. The grinder section is made of cast iron and is also elaborately decorated as can be seen in the photos. The handle is made of what appears to be cast iron & oak and is also nicely decorated. This piece is all original from what we can tell and is being offered in undamaged working condition. An elaborate second wall panel appears to have been added to this piece sometime later in its life. We have not attempted to clean or change anything since acquiring this piece. Dimensions w/ Wall Panel - Length 20 3/4" x Width 6 1/2" x Depth 9 1/2" (including handle). Dimensions w/o Wall Panel - Length 19" x Width 5 5/8" x Depth 8 1/2".See photos for more detail as to item's overall condition. Please feel free to contact us if you would have any questions. The extended handle will be removed for shipping, but it can be easily reattached along with all original hardware. No tools needed.
