First picture shows a little over half this blanket/rug. I\'ll see if I can get a full picture outside soon as rain stops by mid next week( 5/29-30 or so)

**This is very possibly a native American or Navajo for southwestern American made rug. It would make more sense that the farm I bought this from possibly traveled out west in the early 30s or 40s.

*Again a very neat find inside the cedar chest that I purchased. Look at my other listings. I do not know much about this type of item. I\'ll give you as much information as I can find VIA online and research. And I\'ll try to identify any issues with this item. I cannot find on Google on a similar item like this with arrows and such fine design and faded rainbow type colors. Cannot find the same pattern. Some other listings are saying 1940s maybe 1930s maybe 1950s I do not know. Maybe Mexican, possibly southwestern Indian, southwestern Hispanic, or South American. It was in cedar chest, from old farm house sale. Other than the fringe has an area of staining. So it seems to be complete and intact it is worn you can tell it\'s been worn but there\'s no holes ,no moth damage. it\'s very finely knit and heavy assuming it\'s wool. It\'s old may have a slight cedar smell from being stored away in the bottom of a cedar chest. The colors are fantastic they are bright vibrant colors is very very finely knit it has hairs on it possibly from an animal a dog a horse some small hairs you will see on it. The medallion in the middle is just unbelievable.

It has arrows of different colors going across in bands on the blanket. The Fringe seems to be intact all hand knotted. I did my best to get an about measurement so it\'s estimated at 66 in wide roughly and 90 inches long ( not including the fringe ) it\'s huge it\'s heavy. I do not see any identifying signatures or anything that I can tell to use as a reference to try and figure out it\'s age. I\'ll rely on you as the expert I\'m going to put this online with a buy it now price best offer with free shipping.

I\'m not well versed in this type of item we do not see this type of item in western Pennsylvania very often. I\'ll let you the expert take your time to do some research. I\'ll put as many pictures on as I possibly can and let you decide it\'s value. Thank you
