RARE ANTIQUE GERMAN BISQUE PORCELAIN CAT AND 5 KITTENS CIRCA 1901-1910.
MOTHER CAT SEATED MEASURES APPROX 2\" INCHES HIGH AND HAS HAND PAINTED DETAIL. THE KITTEN WITH ARCHED BACK MEASURES APPROX 1 3/8\" LONG X 1\" INCH HIGH. PAINT IS WORN. THE OTHER 4 KITTENS RANGE APPROX 1 1/4\" - 1 1/8\" SOME KITTENS HAVE VERY LITTLE PAINT IF ANY. GOOD EXAMPLES. I DO NOT SEE ANY BREAKS OR CHIPS. I SEE PAINT WEAR AND I DO SEE THAT THE MOLDS ARE CRUDELY MADE WITH MUCH ROUGHNESS, FLAT AREAS WHICH LOOK LIKE CHIPS ON THE TWO IDENTICAL KITTENS. THERE ARE MOLD SEAMS, BODY MARKS, BACK THEN THE MOLDS WERE NOT PERFECTED. I WILL NOT NITPICK THESE FIGURINES ANY FURTHER AS THEY ARE VERY OLD. THEY ARE QUITE LOVELY, ESPECIALLY THE MOTHER CAT.
