This stunning six piece early morning set of Shelley tableware is a beautiful addition to any collection! The set is made of fine bone china by Shelley England. The countryside with cottage pattern decoration adds a vintage charm to the set which is perfect for all occasions. The gorgeous color scheme is timeless and the set is in excellent original condition since this has never been used, only displayed. Note that the creamer has anold stress crack down the front that is hard to see from the outside but can be seen on the inside. I find no issues with any of the other pieces. Purchase this exquisite set for your collection!
This set was purchased 16/05/1953 in Southsea, Portsmouth, England and comes with the original store receipt!Approximate measurements:Teapot: 5” high to the top of the lid and 7 1/2” from spout to handle.Teacup: 2 3/4” high and 3 1/4” across the top, not including the handle.Saucer: 5 1/2”.Plate: 5”.Creamer: 2 1/2” high and 4” from spout to handle.Sugar bowl: 2” high and 3” across the top.
This was originally purchased as a 9 piece “Early Morning Set” but one teacup, saucer and plate set was given away many years ago as a gift.
