These Walt Disney Limited Edition stamps are rare in availability as limited quantities were produced. It is comprised of a limited edition size of 2500 framed stamps.
This rare Limited Edition Stamp Set, entitled "Walt Disney's 10" features the very first Disney characters ever printed on postage stamps. This set was printed in San Marino, in 1970 and features Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Scrooge, McDuck, Pete, Huey, Dewey and Louie, Gyro Gearloose, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. The 10th and final stamp features Walt Disney himself with Mowgli and Bagherra from The Jungle Book.
The Walt Disney Company authorizes the accompanied stamp commemorating Disney films and characters to be printed throughout the world. The techniques used in the production of this edition and the proof thereof are approved by The Walt Disney Company. This stamp is official postage of the issuing nation and is recognized by every postal authority around the world.
Packaged and exclusively produced by The Walt Disney Company in 1997, the edition consists of a limited framed edition of 2500, numbered 1/2500 to 2500/2500.
