Here is a vintage USA NASA space themed .999 silver souvenir coin commemorating the world's first space station. This is an attractive piece struck in proof condition. It weighs 1.15 troy ounces (or 35.7 grams). NOTE: This coin is .999 pure silver, not sterling. All that we were able to find in our searches are sterling. We found 2 made of .999 silver on private sites with no price information. This may be one of the really rare ones with so much stuff being melted over the past several years. I believe that this is an item that was sold (at the time) in the NASA gift shop.
