Gorgeous original rare dark green finish on a 1935 Smith Corona 1s Silent Flat Top manual typewriter.
All keys working, showing easy, nice touch. Alignment maintained. All carriage functions working as they should, and carriage moves smoothly as it should. Spacer bar working. Shift/shift lock and tab working. We are not able to find any functional flaws, although some functions, keys etc. were not tested. Looking deeper inside, the visible interior of this typewriter is very dirty (mostly toward back bottom, under carriage) with fine dust and crud that should be blown out or otherwise removed before use. The ribbon is in poor condition and requires replacement. We recommend a comprehensive cleaning and lubrication for proper performance.
