RARE 12oz "SOLOMON ANDERSON" Forged Damascus Re-Creation Hammer... My Interpretation Of The First Patented Hammer Dating To August 20th, 1845 by Solomon Anderson... Originally designed to be a standard carpentry hammer the hammer featured a unique wrap around "claw" which added rigidity to the hammer handle... HAND FORGED DAMASCUS - THE HAMMER SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS IS THE EXACT ONE YOU WILL RECEIVE... Edges / Faces are crisp, clean, and sharp.... GREAT CONDITION.... Hammer features a beautiful 13 1/8" polished handle that fits tight and firm... Unmarked... Overall length of the head is 5 1/2", Striking Face is 7/8" across, and Total Weight is 1.15bs .... A nice Hammer such as this is a "MUST HAVE" for any blacksmith / carpenter or tool collector!
