R C Rosenthal Early 1900's Coffee/Chocolate Pot, Cup & Saucer w/ Violets Signed:

This is so very pretty. If I am selling Limoges, Nippon, Bavarian or Rosenthal, violets are always the most popular. These are exceptional. All pieces are in excellent condition: free of any chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. The pot has two stray tiny drops of purple paint, see last two photos, mentioned for complete accuracy, but with most hand painted items, you will often see this.It stands 10 inches tall. All pieces are light weight and the oolors of the paint are not faded, but vibrant and perfect.

These pieces are signed by the artist. The cup and saucer are both marked with the R C Rosenthal mark and signed by the artist. I think it says: C.M. Smardon. The pot is also signed by the same artist, but it looks as if a label came off over the years on the bottom of the pot. All photographed for you to see. The violets on the cup and saucer as well as on the coffee pot have a very light lilac shading behind them. The trim is gold dusted. The coffee pot has raised porcelain at the top, I think you can see it in the photos. The flower final on top is just perfect.
