Quechua vintage authentic ceremonial wood mask goat indigenous tribal folk art:

Vintage authentic Quechua (indigenous people) ceremonialwood mask depicting a mountain goat, hand carved of local wood (alder or pine)and hand painted by a Quechua artisan. This mask was purchased in a highlandvillage near Quito, Ecuador in 1994. Masks of this type have been worn during nativefestivals for centuries, and their use probably pre-dates European arrival inthe Americas. The goat design isuncommon among these masks.

This particular mask is from my personal collection, whichtime and circumstance forces me to divest.

Minor imperfections and paint chips may exist(please inspect sale photos).

Eyelet screws and wire added to facilitate hanging the maskon a wall.
