THIS ITEM IS---Pierre Puvis de Chavannes (14 December 1824 – 24 October 1898) was a French painter, who became the co-founder and president of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts and whose work influenced many other artists. Though his reputation has since declined, he was a prominent painter in the early Third Republic. Émile Zola described his work as \'an art made of reason, passion, and will. this is a vintage print, size of print is aprox 5 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches with the matting and frame obviously bigger, you can see the measurements in the first photo. this is a old print of a rather famous scene called St. Genevieve Watches Over the Sleeping City of Paris, you can see the old HOLMAN\'S Boston framers tag on the back, COOL. but not VIEW MY OTHER sale ITEMS TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1.
