Pretty Antique Grimwades Lidded Porcelain Cheese Dish 1906 with Orchids:

This is an antique wedge shaped porcelain cheese dish by Greenwades Ltd decorated with orchids. A rare find. It has the Grimwades Stoke on Trent stamp on the inside of the cover.
The porcelain cover and plate are in perfect condition - no chips or cracks. The gold gilding trim is worn. In fact its almost worn off of the plate which is expected for a piece of this age.
The orchids are absolutely stunning. There are 5 orchid and floral bouquet decorations - one on each side of the cover and two on top.
There is a hole on top of the cover under the lovely curved handle. The cover has a fluted wavy design that makes it look ornate. The fluting continues on the dish.
Dish is 9.5\" long & 8\" high. Overall the piece is 6\" high.
