President William Howard Taft 1909 Official Inaugural Medal, NGC Graded MS 64:

I have for sale the 1909 official inaugural medal for President William Howard Taft and his V.P. This medal is bronze, it is two inches in diameter and it is encapsulated in an over sized Numismatic Guaranty Corporation holder and graded by them as MS 64 but I do see a couple of tiny spots on the obverse. The medal was minted by Joseph K. Davison\'s Sons of Philadelphia. The obverse shows the conjoined bust of Taft and Sherman. At the rim it reads INAUGURATION - MARCH 4, 1909. On the reverse it reads WILLIAM - HOWARD - TAFT - PRESIDENT and JAMES - SCHOOLCRAFT - SHERMAN - VICE PRESIDENT. Please see more in my SGTORE at TE Collectables. (18,626 NRR)
