This vintage postcard features the Presbyterian Church in Strasburg, Virginia, organized in May 1824. The church was initially the Union Church of Shenandoah and later separated from the Woodstock congregation to form the Strasburg charge. The building was dedicated on May 16, 1830, and served as a hospital by Federal troops during the Civil War.
