Incredible find! prehistoric, Paleo-American rock art, hand tool, and fossilized-avian-egg This artifact weighs 5 lb., and meets the 4 important criteria for recognizing the validity of a fossilized dinosaur egg: The thickness of the shell is uniform. It is curved, and ovoidal in shape; there are tiny pores on the surface with concomitant ridges/bumps called "mammillae." And the fourth criteria is the shell has a crack. This is an ingeniously exquisite work of functional art–hammer stone/hand axe– that was created for the ages. Found "as is" in East Multnomah County, Oregon, near the Columbia River. Thank you for viewing this beautiful remnant from the prehistoric inhabitants of North America.
