Marked ROM 8394,this Imperial German M1871/84 bayonet is a historically important piece of militaria from the pre-World War I era. This original bayonet was made in Germany and is in good condition for its age. It is an excellent addition to any collection of edged weapons or WWI memorabilia. The bayonet has not been modified and is a genuine piece of history.
I believe this bayonet was made to fit a mauser m1871.
