OFFERED ... a rare pre-prohibition shot glass, circa 1901-1914. The shot glass is thin-walled with white, acid-etched decoration for \"Antique Pure Rye Blend, Garrett & Maxwell, Sole Proprietors, 1236 Filbert Street, Philadelphia.\" The decoration is described in an online site as, \"Antique (slanted script) ... G&M (monogram appears to emanate rays that are fashioned as 5 points of a 6-pointed star, with two ribbons descending at the lowest point) ... PURE ... BLEND ... Garrett & Maxwell (script) ... SOLE PROPRIETORS ... 1236 FILBERT STREET ... PHILADELPHIA.\" It measures 2 7/16\" x 2 1/8\" x 1 7/16\". It is in very good authentic antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
