It was the first purely homeopathichospital for mental disorders in the United States.The hospital served "mentally ill patients from Orange,Sullivan,and UlsterCounties". It employed a number of new techniques for the treatment of mental disorders, most notably the use of baseballas a therapy. The Hospitalclosed permanently in 2006. This postcard was printed in Great Britain. It dates to early 1900's.
