Post Civil War M1860 Staff & Field Officers Sword w/Scabbard - Etched: $325.00
Model 1860 Staff & Field Sword with Scabbard. Blade is marked "The M.C. Lilley & Co.", "Columbus. O." and the reverse has the walking bear stamp which supposedly stands for Abraham Kuller Zu Wald, he was a Solingen sword maker active from 1847 to 1880. The grip and pommel are tight, the guard has a wiggle. The grip is 75% complete. The twisted wire is 100% complete. The etched blade is straight, unsharpened, the tip is sharp, no nicks, and has some age spots scattered. The scabbard is solid with no dents/dings, and has a few spots of surface loss freckles with surface rust. The washer is intact. Length of the blade measures 31 3/4" (5/8" wide x 1/8" thick), length of the sword is 37 5/16", and in the scabbard it is 38 3/4". Check out my otherWaritems!!
