Nice, solid karabela type sword with some surface rust, extremely sharp, no damage. Probably a vintage or antique reproduction. It is built for use and weighs 945 grams. Length 86 cm with a 73 cm blade (following the curve). It has a powerful yelmen which is sharp on the reverse side. Width of the blade at the ricasso: 30 mm. Width of the blade at the start of the yelmen: 35 mm. Slight distal taper from 5 to 4 mm. Crossguard is made of brass or bronze, hardwood handle has 3 rivets (full tang). The inscription on the right side of the blade reads:
\"In memoria transacti in Turaci temporis cū Seren \"CAROLIO\" Invicto suetiae Rege Donat Fratri Suo germ Principi Palatino Crac Michael Princeps Wishiowećki M.D.L. Dux Ex constpu di X2 Jan i An 1713 fff\"
