In 2002 Wizards of the Coast held their first (and last) ever Pokemon Trading Card Game World Championships in Seattle Washington. 10 and under and 11-14 age groups had their own official championship and format event while 15+ had the Professor World Championship using the Base-Neo format.

I was fortunate enough to go 8-0 to become the UNDEFEATED 2002 15+ WORLD CHAMPION!

After the 2002 season Pokemon and Wizards entered into some disagreements which led to the cancelation of the 2003 world championship and marked an end to the Wizards Pokemon era. You can tell Wizards knew they were on the way out by their failure to even spell \"Pokemon\" (Pokeman) correctly on a championship item. The next World Championships were in 2004 under Nintendo.

I don\'t expect anyone to buy this for the listed price but do realize that this is literally a one of a kind item that will never exist again due to Wizards not being a part of Pokemon anymore. I\'m moreso curious as to the kind of offers I will get, and also I enjoy retelling my 2002 story.
