This is a READING COPY of Playful Little Audrey #10 (Harvey, 1959). This early Harvey comic is based on the character from the Paramount Pictures cartoon. It has a backup story featuring Tiny, an early African-American character. It is refreshing to see a character from this time period who is not a stereotype, but just an ordinary kid!
Unfortunately, this comic was well-loved. The staples are tightly attached. There is a big chunk missing from the front and back covers at the bottom of the spine. There is a grainy texture on the bottom two inches of the front cover. There are some tears and missing pieces on the edges of the cover. There is a moderate spine roll. There are many bends on the spine. There are bends and wrinkles on the cover. The cover colors are bright, and there is nice gloss. The interior pages are complete with no tears or cutouts.
