Up for sale is an original design of the Planet of the Apes Alpha Omega Bomb seen in the second film Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970). This is a 3d printed model that I designed using reference photos from the film and weighs just under 7 oz. It measures about 14\" tall x 6\" in diameter at the base. The rocket itself measures about 12 1/2\" tall. It displays nicely with the Mego Planet of the Apes action figures. See second pic for scale reference. (Action figure not included) It was 3d printed in Bronze Silk filament to give it a metallic more realistic look. I also designed the custom base to display it with the nozzle part of the base to give it better support. You will need to glue the rocket to the nozzle using any standard gel base super glue, clear adhesive caulk or weldon 15. It doesn\'t need to be glued, but the rocket tends to lean to one side if not glued on. There is a seam line going up the back side of the rocket, which is part of the 3d printing process. Note: This is a 3d printed item and you may see some layer lines and other minor blemishes from the 3d printing process, which is normal.
