As he came into contact with many imported products, he dreamed of ``creating something from Japan that we could be proud of to the world.\'\' Ryosuke Namiki, who became a professor, obtained a patent related to ink storage as a result of his passion and inquisitive spirit. In 1918 he established Namiki Seisakusho and began manufacturing and selling fountain pens. This is the beginning of flying around the world. After visiting Europe, he developed a method for making fountain pens using lacquer to prevent ebonite from deteriorating over time. He established the ``Kokukokai\'\' (Kokukokai), led by Gonroku Matsuda, who later became a Living National Treasure.
