Real picture postcards came out in the 1870s. This is a very unhappy looking couple dressed in their Sunday go to meeting close. Notice the style of dress and the early gold filled glasses. As is typical of pictures from this time frame no one looks very happy even though she is wearing a very nice hat for the time. Thank you for looking
