Note that thisis quite a late Vietnam War Patch and sits in a very small window of timeduring the Vietnam War.

Although thepatch denotes it as CCN (Command and Control North), officially Command andControl at Da Nang ceased to exist as of the 30th of April 1972.

In March 1972,TASK FORCE 1 was set up to take control of CCN operations and within weeks hadrelocated itself to Quan Loi.

Literally thiswould indicate that TF1AE, CCN sits in a window of only some weeks between theset-up of TF1 and the de-activation of CCN.

This ispossible however I would suggest that like many units that changed names theCCN was used on the patch to indicate geographical location to personnel whowere possibly not up to date on changes.

What iscertain is that it sits in the window of mid March 1972 through to 16 October1972 when Task Force 1 was itself de-activated with most personnel returning tothe US.
