Pair of estate found porcelain Red Koi Fish Design 11" vases, porcelain, ex cond:

Beautiful pair of vases with hand painted koi design. 3 koi on each vase. The vases are approximately 11" height and have a unique glaze that creates a design simulating a bubbling underwater atmosphere for the background of the fish. Very impressive work! There is no mark underneath, but previous owners applied soft tabs to avoid chipping and scratching to vases or surfaces on which they are placed.
No apparent chips or damage. Glazing (coating) continues a couple of inches into the rim as far as I can see. An example of quality Asian artwork. I will proudly display these with my own collection until they are sold.
