TWO Rare Gold Etched HOTEL ASTOR Wine Glasses

Cosmopolitan and classy, this pair of wine glasses are rare historical pieces of American hotel glassware!

They feature the Hotel Astor shield logo and an encircling band etched in gold. The base of the bowls have petal-like cuts and the stems are multi-sided.

The illustrious Hotel Astor was built in 1905 and more than likely these wine goblets with the etched goldwork were to be used at the hotel\'s more opulent events and occasions.

Approximate Dimensions: 6-5/8\" tall with a 3\" rim diameter.

They are in good vintage condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Only some wear to the gold on the rims.

This is a marvelous pair of historic glasses from which to enjoy your wine and to wonder who may have held them or what intriguing conversations they may have heard!
