Offered is a Pair of RX Porcelain Pharmacy Display ApothecaryShow Globes by Owens Illinois. OwensIllinois gave these to pharmacies for advertising purposes and display sinceOwens Illinois made all the glass bottles used in pharmacies during the 1940’sand 50’s. They are marked Owens Illinoison the bottom.

The pieces were purchased at an estate sale of a collectorof apothecary items. Both pieces are in very good condition with no nicks,chips, cracks, or crazing. They do showsome wear to the gold gilding, mainly on the thinner gold rings near the top.

Measurements are 12” tall x 3 ¼” bowl diameter with a 3”foot diameter.
