This is a vintage pair of art pottery bookends, each app. 5 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/4 x 4 3/8 inches at base. Marked \"Roseville 3\"; pattern is \"Thornapple\" in blue, from 1937. Uncommon pattern! Came from a local estate. Good condition - no cracks; both show crazing; 1 bookend has 1/8 inch glaze nick to bottom front corner; other one has some dark specks in glaze; mfg tripod marks on underside; minor wear; see all 10 pics Itemscan be picked up in person at our office.
