Pair of Belgian Model 1867/41 Socket Bayonet Scabbards - Uruguay Model 1871:

Pair of Belgian Model 1867/41 Socket Bayonet Scabbards.
First marked \"1461\" (Regimental Roll #), \"1884\" (Year of Issue), and there is an \"M\" on the white throat part. The scabbard is solid, there are no weak spots, the stitching is tight, a little light creasing, and a few small spots of surface leather loss. The white leather tab belt hanger is complete. Length of the scabbard is 18 3/4\" (7/8\" x 1/2\" opening).
Second Belgian Model 1867/41 Socket Bayonet Scabbard. Marked \"1955\" (Regimental Roll #), \"1886\" (Year of Issue), and there is an \"A\" on the white throat part. The scabbard is solid, there are no weak spots, the stitching is tight, no crazing, and no leather loss. The white leather tab belt hanger is complete. Length of the scabbard is 18 3/4\" (7/8\" x 1/2\" opening).
These scabbards were also used for export for the Uruguayan Model 1871 Mauser Socket Bayonet.
