On the backside of each piece, there is hand-carved-like marks -©1978 Dave Grossman. please take a look at the pictures(books are not included)Each Size: 5-3/4\"(high) x 4-3/4\" x 4-1/2\" , and quite heavy - weight about 3 Ib 5 oz without any wrapsCondition: there are some surface wear(surface crack?) on the lions\'s low parts and on one lion\'sinside mouth(at end of tongue, can\'t be seen from the view, only by close inspection), please take a look at the last three pictures. otherwise the lions bookend are so cute, eye-catching, and works great.
