Pair of 19th century Sevres cabinet plates in excellent condition.
No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
One plate depicts the French victory at the Battle of Denain under Marshal Villars.The other plate depicts the French victory at the Battle of Lauffeld (Lawfelt) under Marshal Saxe.
Both plates are signed by the same artist and have been kept together for almost 200 years. These are not two orphan plates put together!
Cobalt blue rim with gilt hand painted trim. See photos for further details and all makers marks.
Each plate measures about 9 3/8\" in diameter.
Plate stands shown in photos are not included.
