For the high end collector, a pair of ROYAL WORCESTER Dorothy Doughty (Italian, 1892-1962) porcelain AMERICAN BIRD FIGURINES. LUZULI BUNTINGS & CHOKE CHERRY. Complete with wood base, tallest - blue bird measures 11 1/2" high on base (11" high without base) x approx 5" wide x 5" deep, yellow bird measures 10 3/4" high on base (10 1/4" high without base) x approx 6" wide x 5" deep (base is 5" x 5") From the American Birds Series - the exuberance and lifelike joy of the single little bird is so lovely! Circa 1962.
Condition:
The Yellow Lazuli Bunting bird figurine has a minor repair to the hanging choke cherry flower, cannot see from the front, repair can be seen from back, no other nicks, dings, fleabites or wear noted. A fine addition to any collection!
The Blue Lazuli Bunting bird figurine has a break to one flower as shown, there don't appear to be any other losses or issues noted.
