Pair Of Vintage Copley Press, Newspaper Acrylic Desk Lighters, 1955:

This is a pair of vintage desk lighters made from acrylic. Sealed inside are are names of many newspapers on small pieces of paper. Both lighters were made for The Copley Press. One was a souvenir from their 1955 Annual Conference. Both are square shaped with a width and depth of 2 1/16 inches for the red lighter and 2 1/8 inches for the blue. The heights are 3 5/8 inches and 3 1/2 inches, respectively.
Both have signs of wear, mainly small scratches on the surface of the acrylic. There is also corrosion present on the lighter part of both, around the spark wheel and the wick. Otherwise in good condition. Please refer to photos for more information on the condition.
