Pair Art Deco Seated Nude on Column Bookends 1930s
For sale is a wonderful pair ofAntique Art Deco Seated Nude Bookends. The ladies are posed seated on top of a vertically stepped column. The bookends are unmarked as to maker and have green felt on the base. I would date these to the 1930\'s Art Deco era. I believe they are made of cast white metal with a bronze painted finish. Very nice detailswith a few flakes of paint missing on the edges, no visible damage. One of the bookends is slightly taller than the other; measurements are: 8-3/8\" tall x 4-1/2\" wide x 4-3/8\" deep; and 8\" tall x 4-3/8\" wide by 4-3/8\" deep.From a non-smoking home.Please enlarge the photos for more detail, and let me know if you have any questions.
