Presented is a fabulous pair of antique Paris porcelain vase lamps. The vases themselves were made between the 1830s and the 1860s. Each cobalt blue vase is beautifully hand painted with a lovely genre scene of a couple on a bridge in front of a wonderful landscape. The vases were made into lamps during the 20th century by drilling a hole in the center, mounting them to a custom fitted base and electrifying them. Each lamp has two working sockets and the pulls are tight. The cords are in good shape.

This pair is in excellent overall condition for its age. There is some wear to the gilding, especially on the top rim of each vase. All 4 sockets (2 on each lamp) are in working condition. There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs.

Each lamp measures approximately 35 inches tall (the center rod for a shade moves up and down).

Each vase measures approximately8 inches wide, the bases are 11 inches in diameter and each isapproximately 16 inches tall.

Because of the size and fragility of this pair, we are ONLY shipping ground and the lamps will have to be taken apart, so you will have to reassemble them upon arrival.
