Up for this sale are truly one of a kind item. It is a beautiful antique relic holder that was the personal belonging of Father Alessio Parente. This extraordinary item was given by Father Alessio Parente, care taker and personal friend of Padre Pio from 1960 to 1968. This remarkable gold/brass holder or case is old but remains in fantastic condition. Father would have this with him when he traveled and always had relics on there. He would sometimes say Mass in Church Halls and conference centers and churches to spread devotion to Padre Pio and he felt it was more significance to have with him items of the saint to draw people closer. This was cherished and cared for, for many years. We have only this one that Fr. Alessio owned and gave to my mom because she hosted many events for him and he stayed at our home on many occasions.
