This is a PYRITE ON CALCITE CRYSTALCLUSTERfrom PINT\'S QUARRY,RAYMOND, IOWA. This has nice pyrite crystals on dogtooth calcite crystals. The pyrite has interesting shapes and unusual luster.

This is from the collection of a discriminating Middle-Georgia collector with an eyefor aesthetics and quality. These choice specimens now bear Dixie Euhedrals labels.This particular specimen was purchased in 1999 -23 years ago.

Approximate size of crystal specimen:3/4\" wideX3/8\" deepX1\" tallor in metric: 1.9 X 1.4 X 2.5 CM. The metric measurement is more precise. This is very old stock that was purchased in 1999 fromTHE ROCKSMITHSof Tombstone, Arizona.THE ORIGINAL SALES PRICE IN 1999 WAS $15.

This is from the Tsumeb mine in Northern Namibia. Prior to gaining independence Namibia was referred to as South West Africa, or \"S.W.A\". It was administered by Germany and in very old references was called \"German South West Africa\".
