Offered for sale is a copy of Megillat Esther (the story of Queen Esther, Purim and the Jews of Iran) Illustrated by Nahum Gutman who was the most prolific illustrator of Hebrew books in the 20th CenturyPublished by Omanut Publishing, Tel Aviv 1932 (First Edition)Omanut was founded by Shohana Persitz who was the daughter of the second richest man in Russia. Her young son died and she focused her work in book publishing on illustrated children's books.She moved Omanut Publishing to Eretz Israel (Palestine) from Europe around 1925.There is a little damage to the front cover (one small tear and one small hole) otherwise the book is in very good condition.
I also have a copy of the Passover Haggadah by Gutman also published by Omanut.
