Hi, This sale is for a lovely 1870’s early print fabrics patchwork quilt, all hand sewn in colors of red, black, blue, and brown. Measures 48” by 72” and the underside is a blue grey heavy flannel. Binding is red. Excellent condition sturdy fabrics, sturdy stitches, some pilling on the soft flannel back, no holes, no stains, great color retention, but the quilt does need a gentle wash. I just purchased this quilt at an estate sale in North West Pennsylvania. It is small but would be wonderful hung up, as a lap quilt, or on a twin bed. Really nice condition. I just love the designs of these early pattern fabrics and how beautifully they combine into a beautiful quilt. The photos will show you the rest of the details.
